  3. Kleiderordnung Jens Willers emphasizes that you are in Dubai (and in principle in the Emirates)move in a formal society. Clothing that "shows too much skin" is not acceptable for either women or men. You will therefore not see shorts and T- shirts on residents.

  4. Begrüßung Die begrüßte Person wird mit „wa- alaykum as-salâm“ („Und Fried sei mit dir“) antworten und Ihren Handdruck erwidern. Ein kurzer, aber bestimmter Blickkontakt und ein nicht zu fester Händedrück sind angemessen, da dieser für Araber befremdlich ist.
