Different Types of Fire Bricks and Their uses Fire Bricks are found for the most part in rectangular shape, the fire bricks are essentially used to fabricate the interiors of pits, furnaces and ovens. As these bricks are heat resistant, it is very helpful to construct hearths in homes and different spots. To make the bricks elastic and heat resistant, it is baked in clay and heated in high temperatures so it has the capacity to withstand exceptionally high temperatures. The greater part of these bricks contains aluminum oxide and silicon dioxide. Different sorts of bricks are manufactured for various purposes. Every assortment has special features, qualities and drawbacks. So it is very important to identify the sort of brick and its features prior to installing it for any reason. Clay bricks Clay bricks are for the most part used to enhance the external piece of the hearths, ovens and furnaces as it has restricted ability to withstand high temperatures.
