  1. Usborne French Book List - 123 petits pas Avec mon doigt… Coucou! Où te caches-tu? Play peek-a-book with monkey, koala, lion and other friendly animals in this adorable book for babies. This book contains sturdy flaps for the animals to hide behind and fingernails and cut-out shapes to explore on every page.  This adorable book for babies and Online Toddler French classes Canada is full of rhyming questions to answer along with beautiful pictures. Your little ones will love looking through this book and discover which animal is wearing a hat, which dog is chasing a ball and much more.  This is an excellent books for a game of hide and seek with its large flaps and cute animals! This is a book that you and your child will enjoy time and time again. It is part of a series with other animals so be sure to check out and find your favourite one. 

  2. French Springtime Activities - 123 petits pas Easter Egg Letter Hunt- Place letters inside plastic eggs (either letter magnets or write them out on paper) and hide them around the house. You can even take this game outdoors! Have your child hunt for the eggs (les oeufs) and match the letters to an alphabet sheet. Great opportunity to practice “les lettres”! Easter Egg Exercise- Have various actions placed inside your plastic eggs. Pick an egg and do that exercise! Fun examples can be: “Saute 5 foiscomme un lapin” (5 bunny hops), “Tourne 3 fois” (Spin 3 times), or “Sauteaussi haut quetupeux” (Jump as high as you can). Mix and Match Egg Patterns- Using your plastic eggs get your little ones to match the patterns to some simple drawings of colourful eggs. This is fun for pattern practice “les suites logiques” and of course, “les couleurs”. French Springtime Activities are fun! Join French Programs Ontario have fun with some crafts

Full French, French Immersion, or Core French - 123 petits pas To begin, you need to know that there is no “right answer” for everyone.  The answer for your family will be the choice that works best for you and your family’s situation.  There are of course a variety of other reasons that may sway your decision (locations, specialty programs, environment, etc.), so please note that I am only commenting with regards to the various French program in Ontario Let me start by giving a general explanation of the options: Full French : The child enters a Francophone school. All subjects are taught in French. French is the language of communication. Children attending French school are expected to come out with high levels of French comprehension & skills since it is the language of instruction.
