(2/2) Contact your NA, personal consultation – find out if ... • your institution is eligible under GRUNDTVIG • your idea fits into GRUNDTVIG programme • you‘ve got all the essential information about ... • the application procedure (online, postal), • the application deadline, • supporting documents e.g. evidence of legal entity of your institution

Finding partners ... • Minimum: 3 institutions of 3 differnt countries eligible under the LLP programme • Eligible countries = 27 EU Member States, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Turkey • At least 1 located in an EU Member State • Partner finding sources: personal contacts, international contacts of your institution, consult NA website(s) – partner finding forms, Compendia of funded projects

Elements of an application, 1/2 • Information on the organizations involved • Summary (short but all essential information) • Aims and objectives (clear and realistic, integration into current activities) • Distribution of tasks (very important, communication about progress) • Contribution to European priorities (if applicable) • Contribution to national priorities (if applicable)

Elements of an application, 2/2 • Evaluation (continuous process, look if aims have been achieved so far) • Dissemination (communication about the project results, publications, events, media) • Activity plan, expected results (products) • Requested EU Funding (lump sums based on mobility) • 1 mobility = one trip by one person to a partner institution or to an European project event • Declaration (signature of applicant institution)

Evaluation / Selection • Be aware that your application will be evaluated from two experts from the coordinating NA • Only the best projects will be selected! • Assessment sheet will be published • Assessors will evaluate your project depending on what is written in the application form • check understandability with friends/colleagues before transmitting! • Formal criteria: correct form, completing in full, respection of submission deadline, online-tool i.a.
