  3. GRASS • G- Given- What information is given in the question? • R- Required- What is required in the question? (Look closely for key information) This should be a let x = statement. • A- Analyze the problem- What mathematical equation will you write in order to solve the problem. If you need to write a formula include it in this section (ex. A=l x w) • S- Solve – Remember to show ALL of your work. • S- Statement- Write a complete sentence stating your answer. Be sure to include units (ex. cm)

Four thousand one hundred seventy dolls were sold in the second half of the year. What was the total number of dolls sold in one year?
