  2. Appraiser Configuration Getting Started Appraisal Management let the user to effectively conduct a users appraisal online. It helps both the Appraiser and the Appraisee collate the documents and the process with minimum effort. It also has minimum paperwork. The User needs to login to the GHRMS Employee Login, from the home page -> In the Activity Table, select “Appraisal”. Appraisal Main Page This page provides the status of the appraisals, the appraiser is currently reviewing. It contains the following parts: i> Appraisal Request: The status of current and pending appraisal requests of the reporting Appraisee are shown here.

  3. ii> My Appraisal: It shows the status of the user’s pending appraisal. iii> Message Board: It is a dashboard, that shows the updated happenings in the organization. iv> Assessment Details: Here the pending assessment requests by a peer, senior or a junior Appraisee are reviewed. v> Appraisal Guideline: It shows the general process/ guidelines to fill up the appraisal forms. Using Appraisal Request • When a new Appraisal request for one or more Appraisees arrives, it is shown under the following heads: • PENDING – It contains the number of new appraisal requests. • ON PROCESS – It contains the number of appraisals in process. • SUBMITTED – IT contains the number of appraisals submitted to the appraiser after filling up the appraisal forms.

  4. Pending Appraisee Details On clicking the number below the “Pending” option, under “Appraisal Request” table, we get the “Pending Appraisee Details”, as shown in the fig. below. Preparing the review parameter To prepare the appraisal review for a reporting Appraisee, we have to click on “Manage” link in the “Appraisee Details” page as shown in the above fig.

  5. Genius Annual Performance Management Review • This section contains the actual employee performance appraisal parameters that the Appraisee needs to fill up, and on the basis of these parameters, the annual appraisal of the employee will be conducted. • It also contains the details of the Appraisee e.g., Name, Employee ID, Date of Joining, Branch, Department, Designation etc. • This Review is organized into following evaluation parameters: • Guidelines : It contains the guidelines for the Appraisee in filling up the appraisal form. • Appraisee History: It contains the Appraisee’s records as per the company database. The Appraisee can however make the amendments in the space provided. • Appraisee Family History: It contains the details about Appraisee’s family members. • Appraiser Details: It contains the details of the Appraiser, to whom the Appraisee reports. • Appraisal History: It contains the details of the last increment in the appraisal of the Appraisee. 5

Question and Answer: This section contains the question, which the Appraisee needs to fill up and these will be used to measure the annual performance of the Appraisee, the Appraisee can also jot down his views, to improve his performance further. • Assessment: The appraiser can assign the “Junior”,“Senior” and “the Appraisee's Next Senior” employee to give their inputs on the performance of the Appraisee, these inputs are be vital and shows the Appraisee’s compatibility and efficiency, when working in a team. • Overall Performance Rating: This is a collation of all the ratings given by the reviewers of Appraisee. The final performance grade is calculated on this basis. • Observation: This section is filled up by the Appraiser and is a review of the Appraisee’s Technical and non technical competencies. • Recommendation: After all the reviews and assessment, the final appraisal is done, it contains the Appraiser’s, National Head’s, HR and Managing Director’s recommendations, which will impact the Appraisee's salary and allowances, perks, benefits, Job responsibility and career growth. • Assign to Appraisee: In this step the appraiser assigns the appraisal documents to the Appraisee to fill up. 6

  7. Guidelines The Guidelines for filling the appraisal forms for the Appraisee are given.

  8. Appraisee History (Section A) The details of the Appraisee are given, there is also a space, wherein the Appraisee can fill up his updated information, for HR records.

  9. Appraisee Family History (Section A) The details of the Appraisee’s family members are given. Appraiser Details (Section A) The Appraiser’s details such as Name, Designation, Dept. and Branch are given.

  10. Appraisal History(Section A) It contains the appraisal history of the Appraisee, and contains fields like Type of Review, Promotion Status, Effective Date and Gross Salary.

  11. Question and Answer (Section B) This section contains the questionnaire, for the Appraisee to fill up, the Appraisee can discuss his views on his performance, job roles, and his views on the organization.

  12. Assessment (Section – C, D, E, F & G) The appraiser can assign the “Junior”,“Senior” and “the Appraisee's Next Senior” employee to give their inputs on the performance of the Appraisee, these inputs are be vital and shows the Appraisee’s compatibility and efficiency, when working in a team. Performance Against Targets: The Appraiser can give his comments on the performance of the Appraisee.

  13. Overall Performance Rating (Section - H) This is a collation of all the ratings given by the reviewers of Appraisee. The final performance grade is calculated on this basis. It contains the Average Percentage as well as the Performance Grade.

  14. Observation(Section - I) This section is filled up by the Appraiser and is a review of the Appraisee’s Technical and non technical competencies. This can be viewed as a positive feedback to the Appraisee and can help in the Appraisee’s work improvement.

  15. Recommendation (Section - J) After all the reviews and assessment, the final appraisal is done, it contains the Appraiser’s, National Head’s, HR and Managing Director’s recommendations, which will impact the Appraisee's salary and allowances, perks, benefits, Job responsibility and career growth.

  16. Assign to Appraisee In this step the appraiser assigns the appraisal documents to the Appraisee to fill up. He gives the “Approval Status” as “Approved” Gives “Date”, “Remarks”, “Mode of Appraisal” as “Face to Face”, “By Phone” or “By Skype” and finally he “Submit” the Online appraisal for fill up.

  17. Appraisee Configuration Getting Started The process is nearly similar to the one we discussed in the Appraiser’s section. The User needs to login to the GHRMS Employee Login, from the home page -> In the Activity Table, select “Appraisal”. Appraisal Main Page This page provides the status of the appraisals, the Appraisee is currently reviewing. It contains the following parts: i> Appraisal Request: The status of current and pending appraisal requests of the reporting Appraisee are shown here. ii> My Appraisal: It shows the status of the user’s pending appraisal. iii> Message Board: It is a dashboard, that shows the updated happenings in the organization.

  18. iv> Assessment Details: Here the pending assessment requests by a peer, senior or a junior Appraisee are reviewed. v> Appraisal Guideline: It shows the general process/ guidelines to fill up the appraisal forms. My Appraisal It contains the pending Appraisal form, which needs to be reviewed and filled up by the Appraisee. Once the “Appraisal Form” is clicked, The “Appraisal Information” page opens. The “Appraisal Information” page contains the summary information of the Appraiser and the link to the Appraisal forms prepared by him. It also contains the “Appraisal Date” and “Appraisal time’, when the user Appraisee would sit with the Appraiser for a review.

  19. Genius Annual Performance Management Review It contains the Appraisal form prepared by the Appraiser for the Appraisee.

  20. Guidelines The Guidelines for filling the appraisal forms for the Appraisee are given.

  21. Appraisee History (Section A) The details of the Appraisee are given, there is also a space, wherein the Appraisee can fill up his updated information, for HR records. On clicking the “Click Here to Mail the Details” button, the information is finally submitted.

  22. Appraisee Family History (Section A) The details of the Appraisee’s family members are given. The Appraisee can modify the details and save it for HR and Department Records. Appraiser Details (Section A) The Appraiser’s details such as Name, Designation, Dept. and Branch are given.

  23. Appraisal History(Section A) It contains the appraisal history of the Appraisee, and contains fields like Type of Review, Promotion Status, Effective Date and Gross Salary.

  24. Question and Answer (Section B) This section contains the questionnaire, for the Appraisee to fill up, the Appraisee can discuss his views on his performance, job roles, and his views on the organization.

  25. The “Answer” link opens up a box where the Appraisee can jot down the points or his views on the corresponding question. The appraiser can also attach a word or pdf document, and click on “+” button to save the answers.

  26. Assessment (Section – C, D, E, F & G) • The Appraisee can assign the “Junior”,“Senior” , “the Appraisee's Next Senior” employee and the “Vendor” or “Client” to give their inputs on the performance of the Appraisee, these inputs are be vital and shows the Appraisee’s compatibility and efficiency, when working in a team and with the customers. The Appraisee needs to press “Submit & Send” Button once he finishes the assignment of the Appraisal forms • Select Assessment Group: This section points the type of assessment group, i.e. Client or Vendor, to whom a n Appraisal file can be mailed • SECTION F and SECTION G– Assessment by Appraisee and the Appraiser : This contains the remarks out of the face to face discussion between the Appraiser and Appraisee.

  27. Overall Performance Rating (Section - H) This is a collation of all the ratings given by the reviewers of Appraisee. The final performance grade is calculated on this basis. It contains the Average Percentage as well as the Performance Grade.

  28. Observation(Section - I) This section was filled up by the Appraiser and is a review of the Appraisee’s Technical and non technical competencies. Along with the Appraiser’s comments, we can also find the suggestion made by the “Appraisee”, “Appraiser” and “National Head”.

  29. Recommendation (Section - J) After all the reviews and assessment, the final appraisal is done, it contains the Appraiser’s, National Head’s, HR and Managing Director’s recommendations, which will impact the Appraisee's salary and allowances, perks, benefits, Job responsibility and career growth. After completing the appraisal, the Appraisee needs to submit the forms.
