Mission, Vision & Service Area Quality Insights’ Mission: To improve the health of the people we serve by: Assuring that consumers receive the best health care services in the right setting Assisting 1,000 primary care providers in maximizing the quality and safety of services they deliver to patients under their care using electronic health records to achieve Meaningful Use Criteria and Measures as defined by the Office of National Coordinator Developing innovative solutions that help government agencies and private payers assure the quality and necessity of care provided to people they serve Delivering excellent, high quality service to every customer, every time Quality Insights’ Vision: Assisting 1,000 primary care providers in the transition to achieve meaningful use of electronic health records, Quality Insights seeks to become a major participant in the effort to create an interconnected network of all health care providers and public health authorities throughout Delaware. Ambulatory Providers in service area: 1,916* PPCPs in service area: 1,205 PPCPs to be served by REC Grant: 1,000 Currently serving 1,153 PPCPs and 164 Specialists Total population: 874,092

Supporting Workforce Development Delaware Technical and Community College - EHR Certificate Program • Soft Skills - study skills which gives the student the skills they need to achieve success • Core Theory – 90 hours of Medical Theory is given including Basic Life Saving Skills. • Work Maturity & Employment Readiness • On the Job Rotation – 90 hours of hands on clinical skills are conducted. • Internships with QIDE REC and its clients
