  1. Last Week Leftovers • Online Quiz • If you attempted the quiz, you will receive ‘participation’ credit, if you did not, you will not receive the credit. (No penalty) • There are many glitches/errors – some of you had no tech issues, others had many. Two of the questions on the quiz had wrong answers… oye. • Async Discussion • Mrs. Chapman and I set up a Blackboard page for our discussion – more on that another day. We have enough to do today!

  2. Basic Project Overview • Group Scenario Work • Final Product • Deadlines • How the heck do we…

  3. Group Scenario Work • I want you to buy in to your chosen scenario. It’s my plan to treat you like HS seniors, college kids, or grad students – which means more independence and responsibility for you. • These are completely plausible scenarios. The product that you ultimately make for this course could very easily go into your own portfolio.

  4. Final Product • I want you to create a refined, sophisticated, publishable final product that looks and feels like the end product of two weeks of hard work. • The administration and Board of Education are interested in what we’re doing, and they will likely want to see the finished products!

  5. What to Do? • Podcasts • VoiceThread • Weebly(or another free website design site) • Prezi • MovieMaker • iMovie • Animoto • PowerPoint

  6. Deadlines • Choosing Group/Scenario/Rank Eqs– 2pm Tues. • Email me this information! • Refining Your Goal – 730am Thurs • Embracing your scenario • One email per group • Research – meaningful collection of data by Monday • Next in Class meeting - Thursday • Presentation Development – 4/25 (Mon after break)

  7. How do we… / What if… • Attendance: Daily survey on my weebly site • Asking for Help: Easiest thing to do – email me • Face-2-Face: Schedule an appointment, or find me after school in 233A • In the Event of an Emergency: If we evacuate, walk around the outside of the building, and find me where I usually am – out front. • Changes: I will email you, post on school fusion, and maybe make an announcement.

  8. Any Questions? Next Full Class Meeting: Thursday
