  3. Opening and Switching Apps • Open – Tap the icon on the home screen • Return to Home – Press the Home button

  4. MultiTask – jiggle and jump • Double click home button or 4 finger swipe • Flick left to see all open apps Force app to close – Touch and hold your app icon until it jiggles, the tap the • Slide right –orientation lock and music

  5. Arrange Apps • Touch and hold until app jiggles • Drag app to location • Press Home button to save arrangement

  6. Organize Apps - Folders • Hold and jiggle an icon • Drag one icon onto another icon • Name the folder and then add more apps • Limit 20 apps per folder

  7. Searching iPad Swipe left to right from the homepage

  8. Keyboard Tips • Split Keyboard • Foreign language – touch & hold key • Double shift = all caps

  9. Front and Rear Camera • Rear • Snap Stills • Shoot Videos • Front • Facetime chats • PhotoBooth • Self Portraits

  11. Email Setup: • Go to Settings • Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars • RPS email: select Exchange • Other accounts: select Add Account and follow prompts

  12. RPS email settings You may not be able to add the domain when you first enter your information. Click and you will be prompted to enter the domain.

  13. Bookmarks and iReader • Launch the Safari Browser • Select bookmarks • Select the share button • Choose Add to Home Screen • iReader – strip away the distractions • Share it with a friend • Add to reading list (temp bookmark)
