  3. Site Rank • This site has been a great learning experience for me, they have really been willing to include me in projects and in decision making. The always asked my opinion on what should be done in certain situations. They are very understanding of one’s personal schedule. They are never demanding too much all things that you can handle. You will get to work with not only the operations coaches but also the position coaches as well.

Internship Objectives • To become well versed with how a college football team operates. • To work on the recruiting, travel, and camp check-lists. • Update the recruiting, travel, and camp manuals. • To be a liaison to all incoming freshman players. • Help coordinate and run all summer camps for high school players. • Assist any of the coaches in whatever they needed to get accomplished. • Breakdown film of high school players and submit them to the coaches to evaluate. • To orgnaize team activities and functions. • Show alumni and future players around the Texas A&M Football facilities.

Summary of Daily Activities • To check the rivals pages for A&M, UT, and OU to see what recruits are doing at the respective colleges. • Break down film and give brief evaluations to the coaches or Coach Sherman. • Work on projects that were assigned to me. • Draw routes for both offensive and defensive coaches. • Conduct a tour for anyone who wishes to see the Bright Facility.

  8. Project Description • My project was updating and changing the Travel Manual for the team’s operation office. • This consisted of all the away games and where we would stay in the respective cities. It has all the contact information for the hotels and airlines. • This packet is very detailed for example it has how far apart each tray of food is on the buffet line. It also tells the airlines where to set up our private screening outside of the Bright Complex. • We hand out one of these packets to each of the hotels, airlines, and buses that we will use throughout the year.
