he same day, Lt. Roland Luerich, Jr., of 16th Armored Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Division was Killed in Action. • 6 June 1944 D-Day21 April 1945 - T/Sgt Winfred W. Tolbert of Service Company, 310th Engineer Battalion, 85th "Custer" Infantry Division was killed in action only 2 weeks before the war in Italy ended. • 2 May 1945 Germany surrenders • Aug 8 1945 Bombing of Hiroshima

Effects • One of the effects of WWII is Germany was defeated. • Another effect of WWII is technology changed with computers. • A third effect of WWII is damage many houses were destroyed along with other buildings. • Another effect of World war 2 is the Nazi war regime was brought down. • Another effect is many people died but that is very common in war but many young lives were lost on the battlefield and off.

  8. Effects • A sixth effect I have for World war 2 is Adolf Hitler escaped trial and execution by committing suicide in his bunker in Berlin. • During so the other Nazi leaders were tried at Nuremberg for crimes against humanity. • An eighth effect of WWII is German occupation was divided in to four different zones by the people who won against them.
