  2. What are they? • Painted tortillas are decorations they use on Day of the Dead. They paint the tortillas and hang them up. Amelia and I painted a couple with flowers and other designs.

  3. What do they represent? • They left flowers at the graves on Day of the dead, so we painted flowers. The random designs they made were just for the decorations.

  4. What I did • I worked with Amelia. We bought some tortillas and let them dry out a little. Then, we took some paints and painted designs on them. After we had to leave them out for them to dry out even more.
