  1. TRAINING SESSION 6Thursday, October 25 Working with Developers, Interactive, Social Media - Odona Working with TT, Deletion of Information, Privacy Policies - Andrew

  2. Working With The Database Developer • The developer is used when we need to collect information (program the site) • Officially, book Vlad through Emma (email Emma and cc Vlad) • Depending on scope of project, sometimes dev should start well before launch. • For simple contest entry mechanic, book this ideally 2 weeks before launch, for 2 hours

  3. Site Producers • CMT • Catherine Mann • THTV • Cindy Chan • WOMEN’S – COSMO, WNETWORK, OWN • Amy Wong / Allan Tanaka • YTV • Adam Veselisin / Michael Gray

  4. Social Media Google Calendar https://www.google.com/calendar/ login: corus.social pass: CorusSocial00 • AE or Manju to input all social media currently being sold to client. • The naming convention is: FACEBOOK or TWITTER -NETWORK-PROJECTNAME-REQUEST. For example: Facebook- YTV- SPLATALOT – REQUEST • Disregard the time in the calendar, if you need to book a facebook and a twitter post in the same day, then create two separate boxes. If you need to book a facebook and twitter post for the same promotion, you also have the option of just naming it FACEBOOK AND TWITTER-NETWORK-PROJECTNAME-REQUEST • If the same promo requires posts on multiple networks, please book them separately because separate people from marketing will be dealing with them • Requests will be color-coded by network

  5. Social Media Google Calendar • Once a project is confirmed by the AE /AM, the PM will go into this calendar and do the following things: • Change the name from “request” to “confirmed” • Change the color to “bold-green.” All confirmed projects should be in bold-green. • Double-click the project and access a page where you will fill in the details in the “description” box. Details include: network, project name, PM name, brand objectives, key points, suggested copy, and the clickthrough URL. • Please note that for facebook you will need to ask Phil Ameida to send you the URLs, and then you’ll put those URLs into the details. • After everything is confirmed, please send a courtesy note to marketing to let them know that the calendar’s been updated.

  6. Social MediaGoogle Calendar • Marketing will access this calendar and update it with their written copy once they have it. • They should also schedule according to what is booked, as long as we stay within the limit of 3 facebook posts per week and 5 twitter posts per week.
