3. 故我爱高举主十字架 So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross 愿将世上虚荣全放下 Till my trophies at last I lay down 我一生要背负十字架 I will cling to the old rugged cross 到那天可换公义冠冕 And exchange it someday for a crown

4. 这古旧十架，被世人所轻视 O that old rugged cross, so Despised by the world 我却以十架为宝贵 Has a wondrous attraction for me 神爱子主耶稣, 舍弃天堂荣华,愿背负 十架往各各他 For the dear Lamb of God left His Glory above to bear it to dark Calvary

6. 各各他十字架,虽有血迹斑斑 In the old rugged cross, stained with Blood so divine 我看它仍圣洁华美 A wondrous beauty I see 因救主在十架为我罪被钉死,我罪恶 全赦免得称义 For’twas on that old cross Jesus Suffered and died to pardon and Sanctify me
