Project Scenario: • E-Cops is an online governance initiative, supplementary to the current administrative system. • The services offered by the AuctoritaseGovernance System can be broadly classified into 3 categories: • Online complaints • Online applications for licenses, permission ,etc. • Online progress-checking, to make the system more transparent.

  3. Objective: • The Objective of Auctoritas is to make all the operations of the Administrative System online and relieve the task-force of unnecessary, exhaustive manual labour, and to optimize the use of Human Resources in the Law Enforcing Agencies. • Apart from achieving managerial ease, the system also acts as a decision support system for the police.

  4. Key Features: • Reduction of Manual Labour: • The Automated system improves efficiency and acts as a decision support system. • Reduced Corruption and Security: • The high level of hierarchy ensures enough transparency to reduce corruption to a minimum, while at the same time ensuring confidentiality over sensitive issues.

  6. Functionalities: All Citizens: • Online Complaints • Online applications • Online Citizen Registration • Viewing Criminal Records • Inform the Police about suspicious activities

  7. Functionalities (cont.): Higher Authorities (DGP, Admin, etc) • Manage Police Officer records • Manage Police Stations details • Promote/ Appoint PO • Remove PO • View Logs/ Reports
