  2. Mikä on toimisto-ohjelma? Toimisto-ohjelmia esim. tekstinkäsittely, taulukkolaskenta, tietokanta, grafiikkaohjelmat… Ohjelmapaketteja joihin on koottu useita ohjelmia esim. OpenOffice ja MS Office

  3. Toimisto-Ohjelmia • OpenOffice (paketti) • StarOffice (paketti) • Lyx (tekstin käsittely) • Nedit ( teksti editori) • Gaby (tietokanta) • KDE Organizer (ajanhallinta)

  4. Lyx • Alun perin kehitetty UNIX:lle ja Linuxille. Nyt myös Windows ja Mac versio • Perustuu LaTeXiin • ”Näet mitä tarkoitat” eli riittää että huolehtii vain sisällöstä ja rakenteesta

  5. Nedit • Pieni ja helppokäyttöinen teksti editori • Muistuttaa Windows-pohjaisia editoreita

  6. Gaby • Kevyt sql-tietokanta • Accessin kaltainen • Ei sisällä tukea monille yhtäaikaisille käyttäjille

  7. KDE Organizer • Kalenteri- ja ajanhallinta ohjelma • Ulkonäöltään ei suurempia eroavaisuuksia muihin vastaaviin

  8. StarOffice • Kehitetty Stardivision- yhtiössä. Sun Microsystem osti ohjelmiston 1999 • Maksullinen versio OpenOfficesta • Monipuolisempi kuin OpenOffice • Yhteensopiva MS Officen kanssa
