  3. Characters Cara Landry: Cara is a quiet, not shy girl. She is a good listener and is very determined. Mr. Larson: He is quick tempered, but becomes a very kind person. Joey: Joey is a determined boy with a sense of humor. He also likes technology. Michael: Michael is a boy who usually is alone. He is a boy who is awesome with computers. LeeAnn: A girl who is VERY talkative! She has a bubbly personality. Ed: Ed is a curious boy who is impressed by impressive things. Dr. Barnes: The principal of Cara’s school. He disapproves of Mr.Larson.

  4. Setting This story takes place at Denton Elementary School in the town of Carlton. This setting is fictional.

  5. Summary • Cara Landry made a newspaper and the editorial had truth but no mercy about her teacher Mr. Larson. Her mom talked to her about it. Eventually Cara and her classmates made the newspaper have a good “ heart”. Then one of her classmates posted a story that made the principal mad. The newspaper caused a big uproar! Mr. Larson was in charge of the newspaper so he got in trouble. To see what happens next read the book!
