Motivation • Need for a 4 year degree path for community college students in information technology programs • Need for a 4 year degree that would include community college technology courses • No 4 year Information Technology degree offered in a public institution in California • BLS shows that computer support jobs are in the top 10 “hottest” jobs

  6. B.S.I.T. Program Overview 60 units of CSUCI Coursework (offered on-campus or via distance education) 60 units of community college Coursework (including CISCO and other technology courses) Lower Division Requirements Upper Division Requirements +
