Ideal Gases • Gas molecules are far apart so the volume each gas molecule occupies is negligible compared to the volume the gas occupies. • Gas molecules do not interact with each other. • All collisions between gas molecules and walls of the container are elastic, meaning no energy loss in the form of heat during collision.
