  1. Joomla!!! Joomla! is a free and open source content management system. It compromises a model-view-controller (MVP). (WIKI) Joomla is written in PHP and has different databases, it can also be used independently. It makes you able to build online websites and applications.

  2. About Joomla!! • The Joomla development team created a web site called OpenSourceMatters.org to distribute information to users, developers, web designers and the community in general. A letter was written by the project leader Andrew Eddie which appeared on the announcements section of the public forum. (Wiki) • This was their way of giving off information to the viewers and the users of Joomla.

  3. Wordpress! • It is an open source blog tool and publishing platform in PHP. It has many features as in plug-in architecture and a template system. Wordpress is used by 13% of the internet websites. It’s a very powerful tool used and it helps a lot. It also has great links and it can find links fast. (WIKI)

  4. About Wordpress!! • Prior to WordPress 3.0, WordPress supported one blog per installation, although multiple concurrent copies may be run from different directories if configured to use separate database tables. WordPress Multi-User (WordPress MU, or just WPMU) was a fork of WordPress created to allow multiple blogs to exist within one installation that is able to be administered by a centralized maintainer. WordPress MU makes it possible for those with a website to host their own blogging community, as well as control and moderate all the blogs from a single dashboard. WordPress MU adds eight new data tables for each blog. (WIKI)
