  2. Using Smarthinking Presented By Gregory McQueen and Mary Skinner Bryant and Stratton College Cleveland Campus

  3. New Tools For Academic Study For Student and Faculty Resources

  4. SMARTHINKING Students will receive real-time assistance in math, Spanish, math tutorial in Spanish, chemistry, introductory finance, physics, biology, economics, introductory anatomy & physiology, accounting and statistics. Writing support for all subjects is also provided through the online writing lab. SMARTHINKING's E-instructor Certified tutors have substantial tutoring and teaching experience, they usually have an advanced degree, and participate in a rigorous online training and evaluation program.

  5. The Process and Creation There were a few important reasons for the creation of this presentation: • To teach students how to use it • To teach faculty how to facilitate it • How to use the login screen • How to submit writing assignments • How to submit academic problems

  6. We created this presentation for our students to help them gain a little more knowledge, expertise, and diminish anxiety. Having done this will give them confidence in there writing skills and their academic performance will improve.

  7. The Library Is the place that our students come for help there are many questions that our students ask some example be: • Where to go to login • My paper is not uploading • When do I get my paper back • Can I send more that one paper • What the password and student ID for access

  8. The Interface We have noticed that students/faculty are sometimes confused when: • Trying to login • And interacting with the online interface

  9. Firstime students/faculty We created the PowerPoint presentation to help ease these three areas of anxiety: • For those who are not computer savvy • For staff to help support their writing assignments such as; essays, research papers, and arithmetic problems • To give the student a comfortable place to re-evaluate their work
