  11. Be all you can be in… Military Training • Prepare to take the ASVAB • (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) • Special skills may be developed through specialized education programs OR on-the-job training

Work-Based Learning • Cooperative education, paid employment with an educational component provided in a supervised by school personnel • Internships, observe and participate in activities related to a career field, paid or unpaid • Apprenticeship, learns an occupation under the guidance and direction of a skilled worker 3-4 year training program • Journey Worker, a certified, experienced, skilled craftsperson that has successfully completed an apprenticeship program • On-the-job Training, education and training provided by an employer • Job Shadowing, short term experience that allows a student to follow an experienced worker and see the day to day activities of a particular career
