  2. Workgroup Purpose A focused effort to develop strategies, activities, and processes to complete electronic postage  statement processing and payment for all mail classes in the PostalOne! system.

  3. Approach • Include all stake-holders • Define the electronic processes • Construct specification for comprehensive • electronic postage statement processing

  4. Specific Approach • Focus upon process • Identify needs required to complete the • PostalOne! environment • Process Analysis • Create process flow of a PostalOne! job • Map these elements against production • Outcome to reflect current and future needs

  5. Map the Process • Outcome of the modeling effort will be a • comprehensive model for each class • Specific PostalOne! relationship • may only require a sub-set of all elements

  6. Brainstorming the Issues • Identify any unsupported needs in the process • Prioritize the unsupported process elements • Identify Postal and Industry requirements • Repeat for other unsupported process elements • Repeat full process for remaining classes

  7. Priority of Workgroup Efforts • Standard Mail • Periodicals • Either First-Class or Package Services

  8. Scheduled Teleconference • Conference Call, Friday, 11/14, at 11:00 AM (Eastern) • Homework • Create list of unsupported process elements • Review model to identify new process elements • Conference Call Agenda • Add items to Standard Mail model • Gather set of new unsupported process elements • Prioritize the process elements  

  9. Scheduled Meeting Meeting December 3rd, 2003 at the JT Weeker facility (adjacent to O'Hare) from 9:00 to 4:00. Agenda • Review Conference Call • Continue through list of identified needs • Brainstorm solutions to support identified needs
