  5. Strategy II • Apply for a cost sharing technology transfer mini grant to get logistics assistance

  6. Strategy III • Apply for a cost sharing Applied Research Grant to support a university-investigation into a major logistics question • Qualify for a Research and Development Tax Credit

  7. Strategy IV • Work with interested engineering faculty members who are eligible to apply for an (industry-driven) basic research grant

  8. Strategy V • Make a research investment in a designated, university-based Center for Applied Technology

  9. Strategy VI • Find a federal agency with an overlapping interest in logistics and apply for a Small Business Innovation Research Grant
