The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. 8 The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. 10  They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. 11  By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

  22. PSALMS: LAMENT • Psalm 22:1, 7, 14, 16-181 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? • 7  All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads. • 14  I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted within me. • 16  Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet. 17  All my bones are on display; people stare and gloat over me. 18 They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.

  23. PSALMS: FAITH • Psalm 9:9-109 The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. 10  Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

  24. PSALMS: FAITH • Psalm 23:1-6 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2  He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3  he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4  Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6  Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

  25. PSALMS: FAITH • Psalm 37:4 4  Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

  26. PSALMS: FAITH • Psalm 56:3-4 3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. 4  In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

  27. PSALMS: FAITH • Psalm 103:13-1413 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; 14  for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

  28. PSALMS: FORGIVENESS • Psalm 51:1-21 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. 29. PSALMS: PRAISE • Psalm 95:1-21 Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. 2  Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. 30. PSALMS: PRAISE • Psalm 100:1-51 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. 2  Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3  Know that the LORD is God. 31. PSALMS: PRAISE • Psalm 150:1-6 1  Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2  Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 3  Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4  praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, 5  praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
