  2. Definition • Ud.: When you want to tell someone you use Ud. with what to do or not to do • Uds.:When you want to tell a group what to do or not do • Ie: Mr. Stern, please don’t call after 10 pm. • Ie: Students, don’t call after 10pm.

  3. Formation • 1. yo form present tense: llamo • 2. remove the “o”: llam • 3. add the opposite present tense Ud./Uds. ending (-ar +e(en) & -er/ir +a(an): llame(n) • 4. no llame(n) • Ud. Ie: Mr. Stern, please don’t call me after 10 pm: • No me llameUd. después de lasdiez de la nochepor favor. • Uds.
