  3. Program Goals • Grow the total raised to $700,000 or more • Diversify the donor base • 25 Years of Wornick in the North Pen community • Pro-Israel givers • Alumni and alumni parents • 100% parent participation

  4. Annual Campaign • Close the GAP • September kick-off • written and electronic promotions • Major Gifts • Thermometer • Class challenges • New parent orientation • HOS to meet with all new families • Parent handbook

  5. Gala Economics • Gala occurs in the spring, sponsors + get free tix • Of 250 attendees, only sold 45 tickets ($3K) • 40% participated in the auctions or fund the need • Live auction raised $5400 • Silent auction raised ~ $3600 • Fund the need raised $27,000+ • Tribute book raised $4000 • Total amount raised = $45,955 • The event cost us ~ $20,000 • Burns through volunteers

Feast Your Mind – March 2011 • Scholarship Fund only • Mission-centric, community wide event • Free reception (1 hour) for all at Wornick • Alumni-only dinner at Wornick • 15-17 concurrent 12-25 person home dinners with marquee speakers . Hosts donate dinner. • Corporate and community sponsors

  7. Feast Your Mind – March 2011 • Modeled after Matters of Taste in Boston • 500 attendees and $350,000 for the scholarship fund • They are assisting us with logistics • Minimal cost • Printed book/invitation • Wine and cheese for reception (donated?) • Alumni dinner (ticket cost $36 per alum) • Chairs – Amy and Wayne Sosnick

Other Community Events • Rashi/Akiva/Sponsor Events • Rashi Circle September 2010 • Rashi and Akiva – December/January • Rashi, Akiva and Sponsors – April/May • Fall Festival/Wornick Walk-a-thon • Coordinate with the PTO • Spring Homecoming Festival • 25th anniversary • Lag b’Omer May 22, 2011 • Fund the Need
