Updated information about aid flow and the implementing agencies Conditionality External and internal assessment reports Current and future aid commitment and disbursement Languages of the country where the project is implemented and of the country supporting the project International agreements; complete project documents/ contracts Information on aid contractual processes and approval Relationship between aid and human development indices How sites are selected and prioritized; criteria for selection and evaluation of projects Key findings from the Southern consultations - Top needs Discussions/Negotiations before contracts are finalized/approved Project budget information vis. government budget

  5. Transparency needs mediation Support to local media and other education for development institutions

  6. Transparency leads to dialogue and trust Transparency is far more than a mechanism or a technical issue. It bases the dialogue and builds trust among stakeholders

  7. Transparency needs standard The IATI is not a separate initiative. It builds an ISO standard, using existing transparency initiatives IATI is at least an action taken since Accra. Draft standard and Code of Conduct Policy people must talk to stats people!

  8. NGO Transparency Existing initiatives: • INGO Accountability Charter • Guidestar International • US Interaction work on mapping food security NGO funding project • All national self-certification mechanisms INGOs consultations on IATI CSO need to engage and propose ways forward

  9. NGO Transparency CSO need to consult internally, to engage and to propose ways forward

  10. UN DCF Role IATI draft Code of Conduct 3. Review and monitoring of adherence to the IATI standards UNDCF: The biennial UN DCF (2010, 2012) meeting will offer a multilateral platform to review implementation of the standards.
