  6. Why Do We Chose CSOs? “Private action for the public good” • Freedom of action • Swiftness • Flexibility • Entrepreneurship • Trustworthiness • Less bureaucratic and costly

  7. Weaknesses and Limits of CSOs • Unclear mandate • Accountability gap • Parochialism • Tunnel vision • “High death rate and short life expectation “ • External vulnerability • Permanent struggle for resources
