ACT’s College Readiness Standards • The College Readiness Standards are the skills that you will be tested on when you take the ACT • The ACT predicts how well you will do in college • In other words, the ACT test lets colleges know if you are “ready” for “college.” That’s why they are called the “College Readiness” skills. 
