  3. Brought to you by the Washington State School for the Blind Constant Contact • Constant contact is useful on a sidewalk when you’re outside walking. You would basically use it to determine if a texture changed.

Brought to you by the Washington State School for the Blind Constant Contact • Cover your whole body using your cane, shoulder to shoulder, protecting yourself at all times. • You might be looking for a sidewalk where the texture might change. It could be smoother or it could get rougher. • It could also tell you if you are approaching an intersection.
