  2. DETAILS: # Subject :Urdu # Level : Level III to Level VI # Topics : Creative Writing # Approach : To enhance writing and grammar skills in students through activities.

  3. KEY POINTs “One skilled teacher’s aim is to build a mind plan for students which is simply understood by the students so that she/he could obtain an excellent result!” • To boost self-confidence in the students. • To develop writing skills in students. • To raise up creativity in students. • To enhance Urdu vocabulary of students.

  4. SHORT TERM: “You can and should shape your own future because if you don’t someone else surely will” (Barker .J 1946 Pg.94) • To increase the skills while departing from a junior level to senior level. • The vocabulary would increase through making of sentences every week. • Work would be done from different methods and by that not only vocabulary would increase but students would develop their grammar skills. • To modify the concentration and personality of student. • To generate a relation between students aim of life and education. • To pass students through various brainstorms for their betterment.

  5. LONG TERM: • With a good vocabulary the students will enhance their writing skills. • Urdu language skills will increase and students can turn into excellent authors. • Will enthusiastically participate in Urdu activities. • Will learn the proper usage of Urdu words and techniques.

INSTRUCTIONAL STRATIGIES AND TASKS: • Planning should be clear and to the point. • The way of teaching should be interesting and easy to understand • There should be activities planned to bring up students so that they actively participate in activities • Explanation and teaching should be simple but really attractive for students • Students should be free to take part in activities so that student build up their self-confidence. • To practice on creativity writing skillsthrough worksheets and practice sessions.

Mode: • Students would be brought from a basic level on advanced one. • First dictation of difficult words should be taken then of the paragraphs. • Construction of sentences from words should be done next the construction of sentences from pictures and then sentence construction from grammar lists should be done. • Creative writing in paragraphs. • Story writing • Dialogue writing • Autobiography • Picture story. • Letter writing. • Application writing • Similes • Sentence making. • News report writing etc,

CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONs: • CHALLENGES: • Students make many spelling mistakes. • These days parents don’t pay much needed attention towards the Urdu language. • Students give more attention in improving English skills but not pay attention in improving their Urdu language skills. • Weak in the basics of reading and writing skills of Urdu. • SOLUTIONS: • To decrease spelling mistakes through regular taking of dictations and through reading. • To plan Urdu related competitions in school. • To appreciate students on good Urdu work and by giving them certificates. • To increase the number of interesting Urdu books in the library. • Planning should be easy but interesting so that students learn the basics.

CONCLUSION: • Through the above mentioned tactics students will do all creative work in Urdu with great interest. • Weak students will also participate with other classmates. • These creative skills would be handy afterwards too. • Our students will be able to approach the 21st century skills.
