  3. Logging In All staff logins go through EDS at OSPI (https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us) District Security Manager sets up accounts and permissions Students log in directly to eCOE site (https://apps.coe.k12.wa.us/coestudent)

  4. EDS Roles DAC – eCOEDistrictAdmin AND eCOEDistrictAssessmentCoordinator Teachers – eCOEReadingAdvisor and/or eCOEWritingAdvisor Principals - eCOESchoolPrincipal Other school administrator - eCOESchoolAdmin

  5. Simplification! Less responsibility for DAC Simplified site access Easier task/prompt creation Easier to assign on-demand items Safeguard – student can’t submit work with blanks Date/time stamp on student work

  7. Changes to DAC Role (District Admin) Less responsibility, but equal access No longer need to “pre-qualify” students No longer need to create staff accounts With District Admin role can look at all student work at any time

  8. Site Access Site Access is turned on by default Individual classroom access controlled by teacher Administrator CAN turn off access to entire site DEMO – Site Open/Closed
