  1. QUICKSTART GUIDE FOR CMS PROJECTORS NEC NP64 projector: Connect the VGA cable (supplied/shown) to the COMPUTER IN port on the back of the NEC NP64 projector. Connect the power cord (supplied) to the AC IN ~ jack on the back on the NEC NP64 projector. Once complete, connect this power cord to a wall/floor/table outlet. Press the ON/STAND BY button on the top of the projector (a green LED light should appear next to the word POWER only). On the front of the projector, make sure the shutter is open (shown). Laptop: Take the VGA cable connected to the COMPUTER IN port on the back of the projector, and connect it to the VGA port on your laptop. CMS PROJECTOR QUICKSTART GUIDE Connect a blue LAN/data cable to the port on your laptop (shown), and then connect it to a live port in the room (labeled “DATA”). If the desktop image from your laptop did not appear when you connected the VGA cable, please try holding down the function (FN) key while pressing F8 (i.e. FN+F8). Shutdown (projector): To turn off the projector, please press the ON/STAND BY button on the top of the projector. You will be prompted asking whether you wish to turn off the projector. When prompted, press the ON/STAND BY button again. NOTE: Only CMS approved laptops are permitted on the CMS Network. FOR AUDIO/VISUAL ASSISTANCE: Please call extension 6-3090 (option 5)
