  2. Environment • Lions are found in grasslands and woodlands. • There found in sub-Saharan Africa and in Asia. • The African Lion does not have to be in a certain temperature.

  3. Why Endangered? • Loss of habitat • Issues with humans like shooting • Killing by leopards,hyenas,and strange lions.

  4. Physical Characteristics • The African Lion is a gold yellow. • There at the top of the food chain. • The male lion weighs about 330 to530 lbs.

  5. Animal Behavior • They live in groups. • The African lion feasts on hoofed animals. • They will scavenge smaller prey.

  6. Protection and Conservation • The African Lion is protected by wildlife parks. • They are illegal to hunt. • You can’t breed lions without a permit.
