  2. Data Protection notice When discussing members of the public, all agencies and individuals will agree to respect their confidentiality. The disclosure of information outside this meeting, should not occur unless there is a legal basis for a disclosure.

  3. Forum Priorities • Parking issues at Margaret Road outside Outwoods Primary School, Atherstone • (20 targeted patrols) • Parking issues in vicinity of Michael Drayton School, Church Road, Hartshill • (20 targeted patrols) • Parking issues along Long Street Atherstone • (25 targeted patrols)

Community Priorities • Warwickshire Police is obliged to protect communities from harm in line with the ‘Police Priorities’. • This may mean that in exceptional circumstances SNT officers may be required to work on other policing priorities. • If this happens there will be a need to re-negotiate priorities. This will be done in liaison with the Chair and the panel.

  5. Parking issues at Margaret Road Atherstone outside Outwoods Primary School • 22 targeted patrols completed (20 agreed) morning and afternoon • 5 drivers issued with Traffic Offence Reports for unnecessary obstruction • 4 drivers formally advised about unnecessary obstruction • regular liaison with school crossing patrol to identify repeat offenders • continuation of previous tasking work.. awaiting engineering measures

Parking issues Church road in vicinity of Michael Drayton School (turning circle) • 23 targeted patrols completed (20 agreed) morning and afternoon • 8 drivers issued with Traffic Offence Reports for unnecessary obstruction • numerous other drivers advised about unnecessary obstruction • regular liaison with school crossing patrol to identify repeat offenders • further consultation with school and involvement of caretaker • continuation of previous tasking work.. Awaiting engineering measures

  7. Parking issues Long Street Atherstone • 39 patrols conducted (25 agreed) morning and afternoon • 55 drivers issued with Traffic Offence Reports for unnecessary obstruction • 27 drivers advised about unnecessary obstruction • 30 formal letters delivered to shopkeepers about illegal parking • 1 vehicle seized for having no insurance • continuation of previous tasking work

  8. Other Work • Operation Stevenage – targeting of red diesel, scrap metal dealers and illegal vehicles • Development of Townwatch – numerous examples of prompt response to shoplifters and other nuisance issues • Strong involvement in offender management system – disruption, targeting and support. Many prominent offenders now moved on/out of area • Positive action in respect of anti social behaviour and drug misuse in and around town centre resulting in a number of persons processed for a variety of offences • Active targeting of local town centre based youths with arrests/prosecutions for all main offenders from Dickens Night. • New PCSO for Hartshill Craig HOLLAND 6120
