  2. Common Core Update • Math Units of Study work to continue during Spring Break • Math Common Core professional development for all teachers will occur this summer

  3. Goal #1 Access to a rigorous and content-rich curriculum • 100% of all ELA and Mathematics lessons aligned to CCSS • At least 75% of student tasks will be at a DOK level 2 or above

  6. Goal #2 Highly effective, differentiated instruction • 50% of all lessons will be differentiated to meet the diverse learning needs of all students

  7. Lesson Differentiation

  8. Goal #3 Purposeful reading, writing, speaking and critical thinking • 50% of each lesson will include independent and/or collaborative reading, writing, and speaking

  9. 50% Student vs. Teacher

  10. SBAC Testing • SBAC practice tests for ELA and Math available online • Principals will be sending home information regarding field testing for 3rd-8th grade students

  11. Report Cards • Updated for 2014-2015 to include Common Core standards • Will be available online

  12. LCAP Draft • At our next meeting we will share with you a summary of the LCAP plan for your review and feedback. • Questions?
