PY6 Lighting Incentives Overview Two commercial and industrial lighting programs: • Standard: • Lighting retrofit and controls • Application-based • Business Instant Lighting Discounts (BILD): • Energy-efficient lamps and high-efficiency electronic ballasts available at a reduced price from participating electrical distributors

PY6 Standard Lighting Incentives Highlights: • All Standard PY6 measures available now • All lighting incentive levels the same or higher than PY5 • Most LED fixtures now available at $0.50 per Watt reduced • Higher incentives for lighting control products, including occupancy sensors, daylighting controls and photocells

PY6 Standard Lighting Incentives • Three measures available at a per-Watt-reduced incentive (i.e., difference in wattage between old fixture and new): • New T8/T5 Fixtures at $0.40 per Watt reduced • Maximum incentive of $150 per fixture • Induction Fixtures at $0.40 per Watt reduced • LED Fixtures at $0.50 per Watt reduced • Excludes LED exit signs, channel signs, open signs and refrigerated display case lighting (separate incentives) • LED fixtures must be on DLC Qualified Products List • All require Pre-Approval before project starts

PY6 Standard Lighting Incentives • Fluorescent lighting retrofits • Incentives for T12-to-T8/T5 upgrades still available • Incentives range from $3 to $6 per lamp installed • RW T8 lamps available at a discount through BILD • De-lamping • Pre-Approval Application required • Applicable when retrofitting T12-to-T8/T5 or reconfiguring a T8 fixture to reduce the number of lamps. Fixture removal is not eligible for incentive. • De-lamping + reflector = double incentive

PY6 Standard Lighting Incentives • Pulse Start or Ceramic Metal Halide Fixtures • Incentives for replacement or retrofit of mercury vapor, probe-start metal halide or high-pressure sodium fixtures • For interior fixtures that are 150 – 500 Watts, only retrofit kits are eligible for incentives • Incentives unchanged at $30 - $80 per fixture/kit

PY6 Standard Lighting Incentives • Hardwired CFL fixtures • Only complete new fixtures or modular retrofits with hardwired electronic ballasts qualify • Incentives are unchanged: • Hardwired CFL fixture ≤29W = $20 per fixture installed • Hardwired CFL fixture 30-60W = $40 per fixture installed • Hardwired CFL fixture >60W = $50 per fixture installed

PY6 Standard Lighting Incentives • Lighting Control Products • Higher incentives for: • Daylighting controls $0.12 per Watt controlled • Occupancy sensors $0.12 per Watt controlled • Occ. sensors + daylighting $0.18 per Watt controlled • Photocells $0.08 per Watt controlled • Incentives unchanged for: • Photocell plus time clock, time clocks, plug load occupancy sensors, bi-level stairwell/hall/garage fixtures, sensor-controlled parking lot bi-level fixture, sensor-controlled wall pack fixture

10. PY6 Standard Lighting Incentives • “All Other Indoor Lighting Measures” • For lighting retrofits not covered by other categories • Pre-Approval Application required • Incentive of $0.05 per kWh reduced

Business Instant Lighting Discounts (BILD) • Commercial/Industrial/Contractor Customers • Energy efficient lamp conversion program • Incentives available on reduced wattage lamp types through participating electrical distributors. • Delivers energy reduction without rewiring the fixture. (Direct replacement) • No incentive application • Rate payer funded

BILD - Who Qualifies? • All customers who receive power from ComEd. • If customers paid into the program, they qualify BILD - Who does not Qualify? • Government buildings • School districts • Chicago Housing Authority/Low Income Properties • Any facility receiving tax payer funding • Customers served by municipal owned utilities Winnetka Naperville Batavia Geneva St. Charles Rochelle Rock Falls
