  3. Institucional - Irizar CRONOLOGY • Founded in Spain, Vasco Country, in 1889. Manufacturer of Animal driven Vehicles (Wagons) • From 30’s, started with engine vehicles for people transport.

Institucional - Irizar CRONOLOGY • In 90’s, became established as Luxury Bus Body Builder, Launching the CENTURY, being recognized as World wide supplier of Luxury buses. • 1994, Irizar Century is awarded as the Best Body Coach in United Kingdom. • Still in 90’s, starts the operations in Brazil, China and Mexico. • 1998, Century is the official transport for delegations in France Soccer World CUP. • 2004, Irizar PB is awarded as Best Coach Body in Europe and became the official Vehicle of Biggest soccer teams in Europe.

  5. Institucional - Irizar CRONOLOGY • 2005, Irizar New Century is Launched in Brazil and Mexico. • 2007, Irizar Brazil Achieves 10 year of History, accumulation 4000 Bodies produced for all Continents. • 2008, Irizar Oceania Begins the operations with 50 Bodies Sold in the first year.

Structure Features • Self Ported Structure – CHASSIS + BODY • Structuring done in Carbon Steel, Standardised within Germany Concepts of Materials (DIN); • Roof Structured through annealing reinforcements; • Body Materials Composed by Fiber glass, Wood, Glass, SMC Plastic, Injected Fiber Glass RTM, Aluminium and others; • Polyurethane Adhesive applied in 90% of the Joints;

  14. Structural Features • Thermo and Noise insulation Foam Applied on side walls, roof and engine compartment.

  21. European Regulations • Few bus Bodies in the world fulfils with all safety European Regulations. Irizar is one of them. (E-Marks). All of them accepted by ADR Regulations (Australia). • ECE 66 – Intensity of Permanent Deforming over the structure that protects the passengers. • ECE 36 - Constructive dimensions to ensure comfort and safety to the passengers • Access First Step Height : max 390mm- Internal Height : min 2000 • Escape Hatch : 500 x 780 mm

Regulamentos Europeus • DIRECTIVE 77/538 EC – Ensure that head lights beams fulfill the geometric and luminosity features. • DIRECTIVE 95/28 EC – Flames propagation Speed and toxic gases emissions of internal lining, seats upholstery and internal finishing. • ECE 80 – Seats versus Body anchorage. Ensures that in case of frontal shock, seats will remain in the initial position (avoid Domino Effect). • DIRECTIVES 90/628/EC e 90/629/EC – Safety Belts anchorage in the seats and forces distribution over seats structure. • DIRETIVA 92/022/CE – Glasses Fractures mode.
