  2. MUSICAL INSTRUMENTSTHAT PRODUCE SOUND BY BLOWING AIR

  3. Flute The flute is about 2 feet in length. It looks like a narrow tube with a row of holes covered by keys along one side. The player blows air across the small hole in the mouthpiece to produce a sound. Back to Orchestra Sections Hit Enter for Next Instrument

  4. Saxophone Conically shaped, the saxophone is the wind instrument made of brass. It produce sound because it has a single reed Back to Orchestra Sections Hit Enter for Brass Instruments

  5. Trumpet The trumpet is the highest sounding member of the brass family. The Air travels through about 6 - ½ feet of tubing bent.
