Unassigned Broad and Narrow Diffuse Interstellar Bands Observed in Dust-obscured B-stars

This study by P. Reig, I. Negueruela, J. Fabregat, R. Chato, and M. J. Coe presents observations of 5 B-stars lightly obscured by dust in interstellar clouds. Over 200 Diffuse Interstellar Bands (DIBs) are known, but none have been assigned yet. Narrower DIBs are identified by wavelength, with a broad DIB centered at 5778Å. Other spectral lines arise in the stars' atmospheres.
