  2. “Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Matthew 16:6 (NIV 84)

  3. Then at last they understood that he wasn’t speaking about the yeast in bread, but about the deceptive teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Matthew 16:12 (NIV 84)

  4. TOLERANCE To ACCEPT the EXISTENCE of DIFFERENT VIEWS; to recognize other people’s right to have different beliefs or practices without an attempt to suppress them.

  5. NEW TOLERANCE ACCEPTANCE of DIFFERENT VIEWS; The accepting (and potentially the endorsing and celebrating) of the various and differing views of people.

  6. OLD TOLERANCE To Accept the Existence of different views Truth Exists Intolerance is the suppression of choice/belief. NEW TOLERANCE Acceptance of different views All Opinions are Equal Intolerance is making a value judgment about someone's choice.

  7. “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first…. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. John 15: 18 & 20
