As They Are Today • In Europe - R&TTE Directive continued • Non-Harmonized • If all standards covering a product are not harmonized (RSM, EMC, Safety) • THEN • The manufacturer must apply to a CAB for guidance on the proper Test Suite to follow; • Once testing is completed, compile a TCF • Apply to the CAB for approval of the TCF • Affix the CE Mark + CAB ID Number to product.
