  2. What is democracy? • „Democracy“ comes from the Greek • demos = people • kratos = rule „Rule by the people“ • A form of government

  3. Interest in Politics • According to the young people asked, the austrian youth shows most interest in politics.

  4. Satisfaction with democratic system • Iceland 6 / 15 • Germany 12 / 15 • France 8 / 15 • Austria 14 / 15 • Although not everybody is satisfied with their democratic system, 87 % of the people asked are happy with their democracy

  5. Do think that you have the possibility to participate in politics? • There are certain possibilities, but these could definitely be improved and new chances could be created

  6. Experience with political parties Depends on party, but generally speaking the majority thinks that the parties don‘t even care about the people

  7. Should we have a referendum about Iceland and Turkey joining the EU ???
