  3. WG1 - Vocabulary Harmonisation • Kyoto has produce SD2 version 5 • Excellent work, but effort consuming • Is is expected as soon as possible a first draft for the multi-part standard ISO/IEC 2382 (Part 37)

WG2 - International Standards submit to Final ballot • ISO/IEC 19785: Common Biometric Exchange Formats Framework (CBEFF) • 19785-1 : CBEFF – Part 1: Data Element Specification (will be re-balloted with BioAPI) • 19785-2 : CBEFF – Part 2: Registration Authority (will be re-balloted with BioAPI) • 19785-3 : CBEFF – Part 3: Patron Format Specification (FCD) • ISO/IEC 19784: Biometric Application Programming Interface (BioAPI) • 19784-1 : BioAPI - Part 1: BioAPI Specification (FDIS …) • 19784-2 : BioAPI - Part 2: Biometric Archive Function Provider Interface (FDIS …) • BioAPI LITE (issue on the scope : to be addressed by a Special Group) • ISO/IEC 24798: BioAPI Interworking Protocol (BIP) (CD) • ISO/IEC 24709: BioAPI Conformance Testing • 24709-1 : Methods and Procedure (FCD) • 24709-2 : Test Assertion for Biometric Services Providers (still call) • 24709-3 : Test Assertion for BioAPI Frameworks (still call) • 24709-4 : Test Assertion for BioAPI Application (still call) • Special Group on Tele-biometrics to discuss with ITU-T

WG3 - Data interchange format (2/2) : • NP : Biometric Sample Quality Standard – a proposal from SG • Amd on Part 5 (Face Image) to include 3D issues • Outcome on circular IRIS: Part 6 should not restrict Iris to a circular model for the contours • A new multi-part standards for conformity testing of 19794, based on Special Group on Conformances issues

WG4 - Application profiles • ISO/IEC 24713–1 : Biometric Reference Architecture (FCD2) • ISO/IEC 24713–2 : Biometric access control for employees at airport (CD4) • Current stage: content to poor due to lack of contributions • ISO/IEC 24713–3 :Biometric based verification and identification of Seafarers (WD) • WD is progressing from scratch to headlines

WG5 – Performance & Testing • ISO/IEC 19795-1 : Principles and Framework (FDIS) • ISO/IEC 19795-2 : Testing Methodologies (FCD) • Technology & scenario evaluation • Operational aspects is submitted to a new Work Item • ISO/IEC 19795-3 : Modality Specific Testing (TR - WD2) • ISO/IEC 19795-4 : Performance and Interoperability Testing of Interchange Formats (CD3) • ISO/IEC 19795-5 : Tests of Physical Access Control Systems (WD)
