Update on Action Items • Action Item 7 – RMDS to investigate the procedural issue whereby a duplicate MPRN is generated when a quotation is ‘rolled back’ • Working Practice 13 redrafted covering points made at the last IGG • ESB Networks currently reviewing the document • Will issue to Market Participants shortly 5

Update on Action Items • Action Item 9– Review possibility of creating and providing dedicated MPRN data for use in all IPT tests • This approach was used in a recent Requalification IPT • Lessons learnt: - IPT SAP client will always be out of sync with live - Will suppliers live with different data for every IPT? - Refresh of IPT SAP client will mean loss of generated test data 6

Market Operations Update Information Point • When acquiring a multi-site customer e.g. county council, could suppliers please check the MP Extranet for all of the relevant MPRNs to establish whether the sites are currently energised and confirm those that require energisation as the CoS process will automatically raise a re-energisation service order for de-energised sites on receipt of 010 22

Retail Market Design Service Update • RMDS have passed NSAI Audit and have been recommended for ISO 9000:2001 • Vulnerable Customer – Phase 1 – go live date 3rd May 2007 • Information Point for Suppliers: - when a supplier is acquiring a multi-site customer, could they please check the MP Extranet for all of the MPRNs and establish whether the sites are energised and confirm those that require energisation as CoS process automatically raises a re-energisation service order 26

  29. New Market Change Request • MCR 0127 - Decouple Connection Agreement • requirement from Change of Supplier where • MIC >= 100kVA and there is no Change of Legal • Entity • Following market approval this MCR is with CER for • approval 29

Market Change Requests • The following two MCRs went live as part of the Networks Special • Enhancements project on 11th April 2007 • MCR 0070 - Changes required to MPD 5 to cater for Management of QH • Eligibility • All new connections at LV (excluding embedded generators) will be set up as • NQH (currently LV new connections at 200KVA or higher are set up as QH). • MCR 0071 - MPD 35 CHANGE OF METERING FROM NQH TO QH • This process covers the procedure for changes of metering from NQH to QH • requested by the registered supplier at a meter point or following regular • review of existing NQH sites by QHDC. • These Changes will be incorporated in Version 6.1 of the Market Design. 30
