  1. The unknown killing of the Mussels Solved By: Owen Li, Dean Dessender, Brighton Risch, and Rohan Sivakumar

  2. Suspects and Problem The Suspects: Pontiac Country Club and Golf Course Lancer Farm Indian Hill Estates The Problem: Mussels are disappearing from the Shawnee River

  3. Pontiac Country Club and Golf course Pontiac Country Club and golf Course are putting too much pesticides on their grass because the previous year three people had gotten West Nile Virus which is carried by mosquitoes and one person died. These pesticides could have a devastating effect on the water animal population.  The EPA sued Capitol City for putting too much pesticides on the lawn.  EnviroMax put the pesticides on the line the lawn.

  4. Lancer Farm Lancer Farm has been over harvesting and put too much pesticides on their crops and contaminates the water because Lancer Farm is right next to the Shawnee River and some pesticides could have gotten into the water, making the water bad. Also, over harvesting requires lots of chemicals to repel pests so they ruin their crops.  In Capitol City there was a record amount of corn so there was also a record amount of pesticides coming from EnviroMax.

  5. Indian Hill Estates Indian Hill is using Lawn Care Plus before Lawn Care Plus was available to commercial and industrial areas. Now, They are using too much pesticides on Indian Hill Estates, which is contaminating the Shawnee River. A fuller, greener lawn would probably need lots of pesticides. Also, it's lawn care, which means they take care of weeds and pests that gives them a reason to use lots more pesticides and weed killers that could potentially be lethal.

  6. Disprove other theories 1 There can't be dredging because not only oysters are dying.  Many different species are dying including land species. 2 Pollution from Butler nursing home is not causing oyster death because of confidential information.  Same with Bio tech.
