Impromptu Music: Motivating Musicians to Break Routine

This medium-fidelity prototype aims to address the problem of motivating musicians to break out from their routine by providing impromptu social interaction tasks and challenges. Users can watch videos, record themselves doing challenges, create and share challenges with friends, and send challenges to friends. The prototype also includes improvements in the tab bar, refined sharing functionality, and a better-organized inbox. The prototype was created using Figma and Marvel.

Prototype Limitation/Tradeoff • Tool limitation: • Cannot show playing video • Static content: cannot type yet, do not update • For demo: • Only shows the most commonly used screens for each task • Only one message thread w/ cards • Only one video in the feed is actionable • Friend list is fixed
