This PowerPoint sequence of screen shots are a guide to what you should expect to see at each stage of the on-line reporting tool Reporting on-line should be straightforward and intuitive but we have designed these slides to help with initial familiarisation. However, if at any point you do get stuck, just give us a call – 0844 561 1675. Do get in touch with us to improve this guide to the on-line tool

  3. Logging-onstart here: http://www.ldinbroadcasting.co.uk/_returns/ You can try out the system using the sandbox and use it as an on-line forum with your colleagues

  4. First time sign in Make sure you have the right email –it’s the one we used to send the invitation letter to complete the EO return. It may not be yours if a colleague has asked you to complete this form on their behalf. If you signed in last year or to the T&S Return, use the same password. For new users the password ispassword the first time you log on

  5. Change your password Please follow the password rules

  6. The Control Panel Click here to startyour EO return In most cases you or your colleagues in training would have completed this return Contribute to the shared knowledge of the system through our LinkedIn group Standing Data allows you to Manage your team and maintain corporate details

  7. The EO Home Page Although you can complete this return in any order we suggest you first check your Corporate details. Then complete Section A the self evaluation matrix, the qualitative framework. Next the Workforce data, the quantitative return Give us your priorities for 2010 and your Feedback. Once these elements have been completed you will be able to submit the return.

  8. The Self-evaluation matrixthere are several navigation aides on each page The up arrow will take you to the home page The top navigation control allows you to jump to any main page This will also take you to the home page

Each self-evaluation pagethe key areas … The definition for each section The description of the provision at base, medium and high A link to the guidebook that gives more detail Use the radio buttons to rate you company Please add the narrative to justify the rating Save this section as draft or final

  12. You have finished when you have ticks and status shows ‘Final’

  13. The EO Home Page... now start on the workforce data Although you can complete this return in any order we suggest you first check your Corporate details. Then complete Section A the self evaluation matrix, the qualitative framework. Next the Workforce data, the quantitative return Give us your priorities for 2010 and your Feedback. Once these elements have been completed you will be able to submit the return. You get a tick as each is completed

  14. Click on workforce data link to get the ‘Home’ page for this section Please note the suggested route through this section You can download the workforce data spreadsheet if you wish to first work off-line

  15. Navigating the workforce data pageshave a look a the scope of what we are asking of you The progress indicator changes colour as you complete each table. You can also jump into a specific section. Put your staff numbers in the blank boxes Leave the ‘Total’ cells blank if you want the system to calculate them for you

  17. Checking your numbers Where numbers don’t add up you will see a Red dot in the totals rows

  18. Set the limits of data entrytick the box at the bottom of the page Here

  20. Go onto Contract and Freelance

  21. The Progress Indicatortop right hand grid As you complete each table inner sections of the Progress Indicator will change colour from white to the colour for Gender, Race & Disability

  22. 100% complete! % indicator at 100% Done!

  23. Summary Workforce data at anytime you can review workforce total through the links at the bottom of the data entry pages, it opens a new browser page

  24. All sections done

  25. Review completed details of your workforce data

  26. Go on to complete Sections C and D

  27. Once all sections are complete and final …

  28. … you will see a Submit button The system will keep your return on-line for you to review next year but you can also make a Word copy To complete the submission requires the approval PIN that was sent to your CEO
