  8. Morning Schedule • First bell rings at 7:30 a.m., (breakfast) • Announcements start at 7:45 am • Class begins promptly at 7:45 • Please bring your child in on time. It is important to start the day right after announcements. • 4 tardies / 4 early releases = 1 unexcused absence (Student will not receive perfect attendance at the end of the six weeks nor end of the year). • Please arrive to school on time.

  9. Lunch Free lunch is served for the grade level from 12:00 to 12:30. We encourage your children to eat at school or children may bring their own sack lunch. Parents may also drop off lunch in the front office. However, please advise your child if you will be bringing them lunch to school so that they know they will be picking the lunch up at the office, The lunch menu may be accessed @uisd.net

  10. Parent Information -Visitors must present an ID in the office for RAPTOR system - Parent Volunteer Packets are available in the counseling center. The packet must be returned in for parents planning on chaperoning any event. (first come, first served)

  11. Birthdays Will only be celebrated on Fridays. If the birthday happens to fall on a holiday, the birthday may be celebrated before or after the holiday. The celebration will take place toward the end of the day from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. Sign in at the front office by 2:15 p.m.

  18. Fundraisers Chocolate sales will be taking place in September. 3rd grade’s fundraiser will be on October 31st (donations are greatly appreciated) We ask for your support as all proceeds go back to the students and our school.

  22. House Bill 5 was signed into a law which changed high school graduation requirements for students who became freshmen during the 2014-15 school year. The bill provides more flexibility for high school students to pursue either higher education or a career path. El Proyecto de Ley 5 fue aprobado el cual cambió los requerimientos de graduación de escuela preparatoria para estudiantes empezando el año escolar 2014-15.
